At the core of the Frigate 150 EC are electronically commutated (EC) motors with external rotors and backward-curved impellers, engineered for quiet operation and precise airflow control. EC motor technology provides excellent energy efficiency, long service life, and flexible speed control, allowing the system to adapt to changing ventilation needs while keeping power consumption low. All motors and impellers are dynamically balanced to ensure smooth, reliable performance.

A polystyrene cross-flow heat recovery core captures up to 69% of heat from the exhaust air stream, pre-conditioning incoming fresh air before it enters the home. This makes the Frigate 150 EC an ideal solution for energy-efficient homes seeking continuous fresh air without sacrificing comfort.
