Designed for whole-home ventilation, the Brig 300 HRV uses a durable polystyrene cross-flow heat recovery core to transfer heat from outgoing stale air to incoming fresh air. This helps provide a steady supply of filtered outdoor air while exhausting stale indoor air from the home.

The unit is equipped with powerful supply and exhaust centrifugal fans featuring German-made motors and backward-inclined blades. The motors include built-in thermal overheating protection with automatic restart, helping support reliable long-term operation. Both the motors and impellers are dynamically balanced in two planes for smooth, efficient airflow performance.

To support year-round operation, the Brig 300 includes an electronic freeze protection system. When low-temperature conditions are detected, the system temporarily shuts off the supply fan, allowing warm indoor exhaust air to defrost the heat recovery core. Once the core is protected, the supply fan automatically restarts and normal ventilation resumes.

A built-in drain pan also helps manage condensate, making the Brig 300 a practical solution for whole-home fresh air ventilation.
